We’re proud to share that PATS-C has won the GreenTech 2026 Innovation Award in the Impact category.
The award was announced during the opening of GreenTech Amsterdam 2026, held from 9 to 11 June at RAI Amsterdam. As the global meeting place for horticulture technology, GreenTech brings growers, suppliers, researchers, and innovators together to explore the future of greenhouse production.

Recognition for real-world impact
The Impact Award is a new category within the GreenTech Innovation Awards. It recognizes products that are already present in the market and have proven their value in practice.
For PATS, this recognition is especially meaningful. PATS-C was developed to help growers detect pest pressure earlier, predict caterpillar outbreaks, and time interventions more precisely. By turning moth activity into practical insights, growers can make better decisions before crop damage becomes visible.
What impressed the jury
According to jury chairman Egon Janssen, the jury was impressed by how PATS has scaled up by moving from catching caterpillars with drones to measuring and predicting the life cycle of the caterpillar.
This shift gives growers the information they need to deploy natural predators at the right moment. The jury described PATS-C as a practical step forward for biological pest control.

A strong field of winners
PATS was one of three winners announced during GreenTech Amsterdam.
The Innovation Award went to Sensie from Belgium for Sensie Omni, a wireless plant wearable that translates real-time root, climate, and plant signals into proactive growing strategies.
The Concept Award was won by MANNA CEA from the Republic of Korea for MESH: AI Greenhouse Automation & Management, a modular AI greenhouse control ecosystem designed to make advanced automation more accessible.
And in the newly launched Impact category, PATS won with PATS-C.
At GreenTech Amsterdam
Winning the award at GreenTech made the moment even more special. Throughout the event, we welcomed growers, partners, customers, and other innovators at our booth to discuss how smarter monitoring and prediction can support more sustainable crop protection.
These conversations showed once again how important practical, real-time insights have become for modern IPM. Growers do not just need more data. They need the right information at the right moment.

Thank you
We want to thank the GreenTech jury for this recognition, and our customers, partners, and the entire PATS team for helping bring PATS-C to where it is today.
This award is a proud milestone, but also a motivation to keep building technology that helps growers act earlier, work smarter, and stay one step ahead.
PATS-C is only getting started.
